What's this For?

We at Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Mission (ROCOR) organized this event with two goals in mind:

First, to highlight the Native experience within the Eastern Orthodox Church, something close to us as members of our parish are connected with the Native American community.

Second, to bring people together by strengthening relationships among Orthodox Christians and the wider communities in our region.

To further cement these goals, we will be inviting all attendees to join us for Great Vespers at Holy Transfiguration

(6216 N Sheridan Rd. Peoria, IL 61614) after the movie has concluded.

If you haven’t heard of us before, we’d love for you to learn more.
