Prayer Requests & Orthodox Prayer Book
The parish offers four kinds of prayer.
Moleben
An intercessory service for the living, asking for help with needs such as illness, family difficulties, work or travel; it can be requested for anyone, Orthodox or not.
Pannikhida
A service for the repose of a departed Orthodox Christian; only Orthodox Christians can be commemorated by name.
Akathist for the Departed
Hymns for the repose of any departed soul, including non-Orthodox loved ones; the priest prays it privately.
Private Prayer
The priest is informed of the request and remembers the person privately in prayer.
All names and intentions are handled with respect and confidentiality.
